Adaptive Imagination: Toward a Mythopoetic Cognitive Science

We often see the world primarily as a dramatic narrative, with compelling storylines and characteristics, rather than a system of impersonal scientific facts. This is explored in this article by Dr. Asma on the relevance of mythopoetic cognition. I provided article edits, compiled research, and lengthy discussions on the evolutionary reasons for storytelling.

Second City Writing Intensive

At Second City, I wrote and collaborated on various sketches for the final showcase. I wrote Fabrina after listening to Jessie's Girl too many consecutive times. I wrote and performed Monopoly with my friend Will.

Wild Women of Planet Wongo

Summer, 2018

I wrote and maintained the blog for this interactive Sci-Fi musical during its time in Chicago, from conception to closing.
